Why YNS was created

For years, Shopify and WooCommerce have been the default choice in e-commerce. They made launching a store simple, but came with growing limitations. Costs kept rising due to paid plugins and transaction fees, stores slowed down, and customization options were restricted. Instead of scaling sales, many companies ended up spending time and money just maintaining their platform. 

What is YourNextStore

YourNextStore is a modern e-commerce platform built with Next.js/React, designed to make stores fast, affordable, and ready for the future. 

• Speed – pages load in ~300 ms, improving SEO and boosting conversions. 
• Cost – usage starts from $20/month, with built-in features that remove the need for dozens of extra plugins. 
• Open-source – more flexibility and independence compared to closed systems. 

Core features are available right out of the box: 

• sales dashboard with analytics and bestsellers, 
• order management with courier integrations (InPost, Furgonetka), 
• customer database (registered and guest profiles), 
• product and variant management, with categories and collections. 

Additional capabilities include: 

• promotions and coupons (stacking, priorities, B2B discounts), 
• direct checkout links (e.g., sales via Instagram DM), 
• wishlists and restock notifications, 
• mailing integrations (Brevo, Klaviyo), 
• Remark AI for customer chat and support. 

Store design is handled through the visual Store Builder – drag & drop, live editing of sections, with AI input already being tested (“make the button green”). 

Every YNS store: 

• runs on a custom domain with free SSL, 
• sends transactional emails from branded addresses, 
• uses a shared accounts system – once a customer registers in one YNS store, thei 
• data works across all YNS shops. 

The platform is being developed with a mobile-first approach. Today, it runs as a web app with native-like elements; soon, it will offer a WebView version with push notifications, and later, an easy path to React Native mobile apps.
